Hydraulic accumulators
Hydraulic accumulators are special containers which allows you to accumulate energy, which is then transferred to the hydraulic system through the fluid stream.
Most often, hydraulic accumulators are used to absorb shock, but they are successfully used to perform work in emergency situations (for example, a disconnected hydraulic pump). It is advisable to install a hydraulic accumulator for hydraulics in those systems where there is an occasional need for an increased flow rate that exceeds the average flow rate of a given hydraulic system.
Hydraulic accumulator classification
High pressure accumulators can be divided into three groups:
- balloon: the rubber bulb in this type acts as a gas and liquid separator. With increasing pressure, it contracts, and the fluid enters the battery. The most common type, is able to accumulate up to 1 thousand liters of liquid. It is possible to replace the rubber bulb with a new one;
- membrane: the most common type. Structurally reminds the previous one, only here a rubber membrane is used. They are used in systems where an instant release of energy is required with a small size of the drive itself. Nitrogen is used as the working gas. The average value of the working pressure is up to 300 bar; it is capable of accumulating up to 10 liters of working fluid;
- piston: the same principle of operation, only the separator — the piston. The seal material on the piston determines the temperature of the fluid. The battery allows you to accumulate more than 3 thousand liters, and issue a pressure of about 1 thousand atmospheres.
"Motorimpex" company offers you to by high-pressure hydraulic accumulators at reasonable prices. We are official partner, so we guarantee certificated products. Each manufacturer, presented on the website, tests their products. You can be sure in safety and reliable work of this system element.
