Fixed axial piston motors
A feature of the axial-piston unregulated motor is that the engine displacement is unchanged. This type of swashplate mounted motor is designed to operate in a closed system, but can also be used outdoors.
The greater the flow rate of the working fluid, the greater the speed of rotation of the shaft, and the output torque directly depends on the difference between pressure hydraulic lines. The direction of rotation of the shaft itself depends on where the working fluid is supplied under pressure. Modular installation of a special hydraulic valve is possible equipment, including the integration of valves into the back cover to reduce the weight and dimensions of the assembly itself.
Axial piston variable motors
In this type of engine, a change in displacement is possible. Change the volume (increase or decrease it) perhaps in one of the following ways:
- manual setting;
- using a pressure regulator;
- using a remote pressure regulator;
- electrohydraulic method.
The direction of movement, torque and speed are determined by the direction of supply of the working fluid, under what pressure it is supplied, and its own engine size.
