Category description
Crane for hydraulics
Hydraulic ball valves – a type of shut-off valve, due to which, under high pressure, the flow of the working fluid opens or closes in the hydraulic line. In this design, the ball acts as a shutter. On its axis, there is a through hole of a round shape, which serves for the passage of hydraulic fluid.
Stainless or carbon steel – the main materials from which, as a rule, the body of such a crane is made. As standard, ball valve seals are marked NBR, but EPDM, FKM and MVQ are also available.
Crane for hydraulics: its types and advantages
Based on the diameter of the passage hole, there are such types of valves for hydraulic systems:
- Full bore. Their hole size matches the inner diameter of the pipeline that will be connected.
- Reduced. In this case, the size of the hole in the ball valve differs by one step from the diameter of the pipeline.
By the number of passes, cranes are divided into two types:
- Two-way. They make it possible to open / shut off the flow of the working fluid in the hydraulic line even at extremely high pressures.
- Three-way. Designed for alternate transfer of the liquid flow entering the passage into the other two passages.
