Hydraulic pumps

Hydraulic pump is one of the main components of the power pack. Its movement and effort depends on what kind of working volume the pump has and what pressure it is able to create.
Before buying hydraulic pump you have to familiarize yourself with its main operating parameters:
- working volume is the volume of working fluid which the pump displaces in one cycle of operation. It should be understood that the real efficiency of any pump is slightly lower due to possible leaks of the working fluid.
- maximum pressure — maximum pressure value at which the pump retains its operational characteristics even during continuous operation.

Classification of hydraulic pumps

You can use hydraulic pump in any hydraulic power unit, this is the reason why you can buy pump one of the following types:
- axial piston systems are used in systems where it is necessary to use a pressure above 250 Bar with a working volume of liquid of more than 150 l/min;
- screw are designed for the largest feed, while they allow you to pump the working fluid with a very high viscosity;
- vane-type hydraulic pumps are very quiet;
- radial piston hydraulic pumps can operate at very high pressure indicators, but have one drawback: they have a rather modest displacement;
- manual hydraulic pumps are designed for manual pumping of small volumes of working fluid;
- gear hydraulic pumps are the most common type of pumps. Able to operate at pressures up to 250 bar, pumping up to 150 liters of working fluid per minute.
