Hydraulic batteries classification
- bottled. Rubber balloon in this type of battery is a divider between gas and fluid. When pressure is getting higher it squeezes and fluid goes to the battery. This is one of the most popular one, can accumulate more than 1000 liters of fluid. Rubber balloon can be replaced on a new one.
- Membranous. The most popular type. Basically you can compare it to previous one but in this case elastic gum is the main difference. Can be applied in systems where big amount of energy need to be instantly released, considering small size of the device. Gas in a system is nitrogen. Average pressure is up to 300bar. Capable to accumulate up to 10 liters of a fluid
- piston types. Operates the same, but the divider is a piston. Reinforced material on a piston determines the temperature of a fluid. Battery is capable to accumulate up to 3000 liters and release the pressure up to 1000atm
